Connect to Hive

  1. Log in to Analyst Studio and follow the steps to connect a database to Analyst Studio.

  2. Click the Search databases dropdown and select Hive.

  3. Enter the Display name, Description (optional), Host, Port, Database name, LDAP Username, and LDAP Password.

  4. Select the preferred JDBC driver.

  5. (Optional) Select the checkbox labeled Use HTTP Transport.

  6. Click Connect. You will land on a page that displays your database schema.
