Connect to Microsoft SQL Server

  1. Log in to Analyst Studio and follow the steps to connect a database to Analyst Studio.

  2. Select Microsoft SQL Server.

  3. Enter the Display name, Description (optional), Host, Instance, Port, and Database name.

  4. Select the Authentication method from the dropdown.

    1. For Default, enter Username and Password.

    2. For ActiveDirectoryServicePrincipal, enter PrincipalID and PrincipalSecret.

    3. For ActiveDirectoryPassword, enter Username and Password.

  5. Upload a file for the Custom Trusted SSL CA certificate.

  6. Select the preferred JDBC driver.

  7. Click Connect. You will land on a page that displays your database schema.
